DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, February 28\, 2017 | Austin\, Texas\n		\n		\n			\n\n			Join the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce\, the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce\, and the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce for  VIVA San Antonio! 2017.  VIVA San Antonio! is our a biennial legislative advocacy day for business\, industry\, and local elected leaders in San Antonio to visit with legislators at the State Capitol. This year's  VIVA San Antonio! efforts will be chaired by Eddie Aldrete\, Senior Vice President of IBC Bank. \n\n			 \n\n			The day will kick-off with a legislative luncheon at The Double Tree Suites by Hilton (303 West 15th Street)\, featuring guest speaker Evan Smith\, CEO and co-founder of The Texas Tribune. Evan will preview the 85th Legislative Session and discuss how the outcome of the 2016 elections could impact the political environment looking ahead to 2018. Following lunch\, attendees will break into issue teams to swarm the Capitol and meet with state legislators to discuss issues that are important to San Antonio. The day will conclude with a reception at the Governor's Mansion hosted by Texas First Lady Cecilia Abbott. This is an ideal venue for attendees to mingle with legislators\, staff\, and Chamber leadership.\n\n			\n\n			All participants are responsible for their own travel to and from Austin.
