We are inviting educators from the San Antonio area to experience our TEKS-aligned education program firsthand and learn how we use our unique vertical wind tunnel facility to make STEM exciting\, relevant and accessible to all students. Students learn how force affects motion\, and they think about how velocity and acceleration relate to each other. We examine the relationship between surface area and terminal velocity\, and then apply the engineering design process to the iFLY wind tunnel. \n\n \n\nAn iFLY field trip provides an unparalleled learning experience for your students by combining a variety of learning styles for maximum retention. Our STEM Educational Programs also offer an in-depth learning experience by providing learning objectives to your classroom prior to the flight experience as well as post-field trip activities. Students practice science process skills. They observe\, predict\, measure and analyze. Our lab portion is hands-on and inquiry-based.\n\n \n\nI hope you will join us for a night of education\, flying and fun!
