Keynote Speaker\, acclaimed author\, Kristin Souers\, will present a session on "Fostering Resilient Learners". Breakout Sessions include ADHD\, Anxiety\, Technology\, Academic Accommodations\, and Mindfulness.\n\n\n\nHow can we empower our youth to be their best amid a world of stress and trauma?\n\n\n\nAs parents\, teachers\, and other adults who touch the lives of children and adolescents\, it is our responsibility to build on the potential we see and to help mitigate the negative effects of the various traumatic experiences our youth face.\n\n\n\nIn this interactive and relevant keynote lecture\, author Kristin Souers will address how we can help children develop into resilient young adults. Beginning with exploring the impact of stress on the brain and then turning the lens toward self-awareness\, participants will leave this session with the tools they need to provide effective support.
