New consumer devices such as Smartphones and tablets are more than consumer gadgets.  They are truly disruptive and need to be examined in corporations.  While they present a variety of opportunities for businesses, they are used in many cases by individuals to supplement notebooks.   These devices create new challenges for IT in policies, security and technology.   We will discuss how Valero IT has reacted to these devices and will ask those in the audience to participate in the discussion about their corporate experience.
