Discussion is on the scope and history of the Skills Development Fund, highlights Alamo Colleges’ successes in implementing the fund to train technicians and analysts in advanced technology skills, and outline how we can build a consortium that will allow North Chamber to take advantage of this unique opportunity

As a follow up to our July visit to the Toyota plant where the concepts of Kaizen, or continuous improvement, and Lean Manufacturing can be seen in person, Michiel Espach will use his background as Industrial Engineer to facilitate a discussion focusing on defining Lean IT, how to apply the principles of Lean IT to remove waste from your IT value chain, and how to improve IT business contribution while reducing cost at the same time. The session will briefly touch on the concepts of Lean IT but will mostly focus on the practical applications of the concepts in your IT organization with examples.
