2011 July CIO Breakfast

Start Time:  8:00 AM CST – Breakfast & Networking.  Visitor’s Center self-tour also available.

Tour Start Time:  9:00AM – 9:30AM. 

The tour is located in the manufacturing plant, which is a short drive from the Visitor’s Center.  We will be taking our own vehicles – Toyota does not provide transportation.

The field trip will tie into the August event on Lean IT.  By visiting the plant,  attendees will be given a chance to see super-efficient and super effective business processes in place at the plant, discuss them as they relate to IT in August, and then apply some of the concepts to their own organizations.

Guidelines:

TMMTX maintains a safe and secure environment so please be aware of the
following guidelines:

- Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of your scheduled tour time.
Tours begin promptly at their scheduled times.

- No carry-on is permitted in the Visitor Center, including purses,
backpacks, briefcases, or bags of any kind. Please leave them in your
vehicle.

- Personal transportation is required while traveling on the TMMTX campus.

- A valid photo ID will be required for each adult scheduled for the tour.

- Cameras are allowed in the Visitor Center, but must be checked in at the
registration desk before the plant tour. No cameras or camera phones are
allowed in the manufacturing facility.


Clothing Requirements:

Important: Since this is a tour through an operational manufacturing
facility, there is a certain dress code that must be followed without
exception:

- Long pants (no skirts, no shorts)
- Shirts must have sleeves (short sleeves acceptable: no sleeveless or cap
sleeves)
- Closed toe shoes must be worn. (No sandals or open toe shoes).
- Safety glasses and hard hats will be supplied and must be worn at all
times during the tour.
